FOLDER: Now Seeking Submissions

FOLDER publishes a portfolio of one poet’s work each month. A well-established journal, they’ve showcased the work of over 100 poets both online and in their chapbook-style print magazine. They also occasionally print broadsides.

Their attractive, minimalist online journal creates a quiet space for readers to focus on the featured poet. And, the print journal, distributed in a small selection of bookshops around the US and in the Netherlands, offers readers a thoughtfully designed art object to enjoy.

FOLDER is open to submissions monthly, from the 15th through the end of the month. Submitting authors can read the journal online to get a sense of what they publish.

Poets may submit as much work as they would like to present in the journal. Submissions should be accompanied by a brief bio. They are unable to pay authors right now.

FOLDER accepts submissions via email, not online or by post. They ask that submitting authors establish an email thread to use for all future submissions to FOLDER. They do not accept previously published work.

If you would like to learn more or submit, please visit their website here.
