Welcome to Authors Publish: We Help Writers Get Published

Congratulations on taking this big step towards becoming a published writer. 🥳

Our goal with this newsletter is to support you by making publishing free and accessible. So make sure to check your spam folder and move our email to your primary folder. ✉️

Let’s get started!

As a part of our community of writers, here’s what you’re in for:

1. Submission Calls 📚

Twice a week, we send you submission calls from book publishers and literary magazines, to save you time researching where to submit your work. Best of all, you don’t need a literary agent to submit to any of them! Just as important: unlike almost every other newsletter, we don’t list any submission calls that require submission fees. None. At all.

2. Free Lectures on Craft and Publishing🗣️

Every month, we send you invites to free online lectures conducted by award-winning authors, publishers, literary agents, and other industry professionals. You will also have a chance to ask your questions on writing and publishing during these lectures!

3. Free Ebooks 📘

As writers ourselves, we understand the importance of accessible information. We have published a wide range of ebooks that have been taught at university levels to writers. We’ve made all of our books available, completely free of charge. If you’re new to publishing, we recommend starting with Submit, Publish, Repeat: How to Publish Your Creative Writing in Literary Journals.

A Gift for You! 🎁

As our new member, we would like to give you free access to our lecture ‘How to Submit Your Manuscript to Publishers & Agents’. In this lecture, you’ll learn how to create a polished and industry appropriate submission packet, along with the necessary tools to find publishers and agents. Watch the lecture here.
